Localize typical neurological lesions in horses to determine the origin and extent of the problem.
Classify neurological lesions based on their extension and diffusion to refine diagnosis and treatment planning.
Recognize and interpret clinical signs in neurological patients to facilitate early detection and intervention.
Describe various types of ataxia and develop diagnostic approaches specific to equine ataxia.
Identify the most effective diagnostic tools for evaluating different neurological conditions in horses.
Discuss and evaluate therapeutic options available for managing neurological disorders in equine patients.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat neurological conditions in horses, improving patient outcomes and enhancing their veterinary expertise.

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the use of local anesthesia and analgesia through plexus and peripheral nerve blocks, as well as epidural blocks.

A solid understanding of orthopaedic surgery in cats, including key surgical techniques and approaches.
