Two-day course in Equine Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of anaesthesia in horses, focusing on creating tailored protocols for different environments, from the field to the hospital. Participants will gain the skills needed to select the most effective analgesic options for a range of equine conditions, as well as the ability to anticipate and manage complications related to anaesthetic procedures. Emphasis will also be placed on developing effective therapeutic strategies for handling emergencies and anaesthetic protocols.

Throughout the course, delegates will have the opportunity to practice or observe demonstrations of key techniques, including:
Local anaesthetic blocks for pain management in horses.
Induction techniques to safely begin anaesthesia in horses.
Intravenous anaesthesia techniques for field-based procedures with horses.
Inhalation anaesthesia, along with its monitoring, to ensure patient safety and effective sedation.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to handle anaesthesia and analgesia in horses across various clinical settings.

Dette kursus giver danske dyrlæger en grundlæggende forståelse af, hvordan kunstig intelligens (AI) kan integreres i deres kliniske arbejde for at optimere både kvaliteten af patientbehandlingen og arbejdsdage. Integrere AI i deres kliniske praksis for at forbedre effektivitet, nøjagtighed og patientbehandling. Reducere stress, arbejdsbyrde og overarbejde ved at anvende AI til rutinemæssige opgaver

At the end of the course you will have gained:
A solid understanding of orthopaedic surgery in cats, including key surgical techniques and approaches.
Be able to diagnose and treat various types of fractures in cats, including humeral, radius, ulna, metacarpal, and metatarsal fractures.
